Into Era 4

As some of you know, The D20 Speakeasy is a deeply personal project. It's had three distinct eras, a D&D youtube channel, commission painting, and most recently I shared the project with Bean. We attempted various avenues in hope of opening a brick and mortar. Bean has now stepped away. Friendship mover capitalism.

So I now journey solo into era 4. A focused approach on miniatures, games, and the artist community. Earlier this year we released Wizard Turf War, a fast paced indie wargame of wizards slinging devastating spells at one another.

Find it here.

Next month I will release Sprue & Goo issue 1. A zine about miniatures and the artists who paint them.

You can stay informed at bluesky @sprueandgoozine.bsky.social

I'm extremely proud of it and can't wait to start on issue 2. Issue 1 will be available online and I'll be giving out free copies at Reapercon.

But what is after that? You see because of my day job I had what can only be described as a mid life crisis at 30. With that crisis came a need to make stuff.

So next year I launch "Brain Eating Amoeba Miniatures". Starting off there will be sculpts from Cara Curley and myself.

I should answer the why of B.E.A.M. First and foremost, not everyone has a resin printer, so all the sculpts we put out will be available physically from us. Next, I want to get weird with it, the stranger the better. Lastly I want to always showcase work from a diverse range of sculptors.

In addition to models, B.E.A.M. will have some basing offerings, the first of which is already up on etsy. HERE

This post is mostlya, dedication to myself to not be so somber and get some work done. See y’all at Reapercon!
